Harpenden and surrounding area, in Hertfordshire

Our Bell tents need to be pitched on a flat real grass surface. Artificial grass is not possible for pitching. Our 4m bell tent requires at least 6 x 6 meters of space to pitch and our 5m bell tent requires at least 7 x 7 meters of space to pitch.

Please check that you have sufficient space available prior to booking as this may result in problems with us setting up on the day and a cancellation of the booking by the company. We do not arrange tents in a campsite setting – we provide purely in residential gardens unless discussed prior with the company.

For 4 m bell tents, we recommend 4 people/children.

For 5 m bell tents, we recommend. 5 people/children.  At a stretch 6 people.

We accept bank transfer payments for deposit and full balance payments. We require a deposit to secure your booking. You will be invoiced after completion of your booking form.

 Our Bell tent can be hired for the day or overnight. We will work with you to agree the time for delivery.

Garden Party hire is for 6hrs during the day and an agreed start time. We will collect no later than 8 pm after a day hire.

Overnight hire will be collected the following day at 10 / 11 am.

Please note we hire our bell tents April – September.

For a fully decorated tent booking, we will decorate the tent and provide battery-run lighting and gorgeous accessories. Please only use battery lighting that we provide you with. We also provide foam pvc beds, blankets, pillows and other decorations such as artificial flower garlands or bunting. The bell tents can be hired without decorations to

We provide pillows and blankets as well as additional blankets. All these are washed after each booking. Mattresses are PVC and have a mattress protector

The customer hiring all the equipment and bell tent is solely responsible for the care and safety of all the children using them and should ensure that all parent/guardians are aware that the company is not responsible for the care and safety of the children during the hire.

The customer accepts all responsibility for all children that have been left by their parent/guardian.
 

We require a safety deposit that will be returned to you once our items are collected. If there is any damage or missing items this will be deducted from the safety deposit.

Pets or animals are not permitted in the bell tent. If there is damage or dirt caused by pets, we may need to administer some further charges for cleaning by retaining some of the deposit.

Yes

We do not allow any smoking in or around  our tents. Vaping or any e-cigarettes are not allowed. No lighting other than that provided by the company is allowed inside the tents. Flames, fire, BBQs or any gas equipment is not permitted within a 7 metre range of the tent.

 Yes, the company is fully insured.

Hiring just the tent includes the setup and dismantling. We will offer you guidance on what is permitted if you decorate it yourself..

The company has a right to cancel a hire if the weather is deemed severe and a full refund will be processed.
